Winds of Change – Discovering Saudi Arabia

Day 1: Fly to Riyadh

Arrive in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia’s dynamic capital. Transfer to the hotel and enjoy a welcome dinner in the evening.

Day 2: Diriyah & Riyadh

Explore Diriyah, the original capital of the Saudi dynasty. Visit the UNESCO-listed At-Turaif district with traditional Najdi mudbrick architecture. National Museum visit and exploration of Masmak Fort. Wander through Souq Al-Zal, one of Riyadh’s oldest markets.

Day 3: Ushaiger Heritage Village – Buraidah

Depart to Ushaiger Heritage Village. Discover charming streets, palm groves, and historic Najdi buildings. Continue to Buraidah and check in at the hotel.

Day 4: Buraidah Camel Market & Ha’il

Experience the world’s largest camel market in Buraidah. En route to Ha’il, explore archaeological remains of Fayd. Admire Hutaymah Crater before reaching Ha’il and checking in.

Day 5: Ha’il & Jubbah

Explore Ha’il, visit Qishlah Fortress, and drive through the Great Nefud Desert. Discover UNESCO World Heritage Site of Jubbah with rock art dating back ten thousand years. Check in at AlUla for the next two nights.

Day 6: AlUla & Hegra

Explore AlUla’s Old Town and join a coach tour of Hegra, Saudi’s answer to Petra. Marvel at rock-hewn tombs dating back two thousand years. Enjoy sunset at Elephant Rock.

Day 7: Medina & Bullet Train to Jeddah

Drive to Medina, the second-holiest city in Islam. Explore the central area, Jabal Uhud battlefield, and Prophet’s Mosque faade. Experience the sleek Haramain Railway to Jeddah on the Red Sea.

Day 8: Jeddah City Tour & Dinner with a Local Businesswoman

Visit the House of Islamic Art and drive along the Corniche. Explore the UNESCO-listed Old Quarter, Al Balad. Farewell dinner with a local businesswoman and her family, gaining insight into modern family dynamics.

Day 9: Departure
