Itinerary

Day 1 UK – Naples – Ischia

Titans VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home for your flight to Naples. On arrival, well board our ferry for the crossing to Ischia and transfer to our hotel in Ischia Porto, with stunning views across the Bay of Naples. We’ll stay for three nights here amongst lush terraced gardens. A private beach can be accessed via some steps (the steps are quite steep and can be challenging) or the pier is a 20-minute walk away. The hotel is also on a local bus route to explore more easily.

Day 2 Ischia

Discover a slice of local Italy in Ischia. Just a stones throw from the mainland in the sparkling Bay of Naples, the island is regarded as Capris lesser-known sister. Quieter, yes. More relaxed, yes. But this volcanic island is just as seductive. Its host to some dramatic historic sites and a string of soft, sandy beaches – plus theres over 100 thermal springs which make it a popular wellness destination for locals and visitors alike.

We waste no time in getting to know the island on a coastline tour with a local guide today. Well stop in Forio; drive via Panza to Serrara Fontana; visit Ischia Ponte, the site of the islands magnificent medieval Castello Aragonese; and pretty little Lacco Ameno.

  • Guided tour of Ischia (all day)

Day 3 Ischia – Procida

If youve felt the urge to dip your toes into sparkling blue waters, today might be the day. After a nice, leisurely morning, we take to the water for an island tour by boat around Ischia and Procida. The tiny little island of Procida in the Bay of Naples is a favourite among Italian holidaymakers and theres a real local feel here.

Well cruise around the island taking in the pretty sights from afar. Well pass Castello Aragonese and sail towards San Angelo to enjoy the views from the harbour. Well watch the sunset in the bay of Citara, with Prosecco and canaps. The perfect end to a memorable day.

  • Boat tour around Ischia and Procida (afternoon)

Day 4 Ischia – Sorrento

Youll have the whole morning to yourself today. Perhaps opt for a spot of shopping in the boutique shops lining Via Roma, or spend the morning at the nearby beach. This afternoon well take the ferry back to the mainland and transfer to Sorrento, where our home for four nights is a small property exclusively for us.

Once a convent, it’s been converted into unique accommodation set on a Sant’Agnello clifftop. During our stay in cosy rooms, you’ll be able to explore the pretty gardens and take a rest on a shady seat. Or sip a refreshing drink on the terrace, where the highlight is sure to be the breathtaking views of the Bay of Naples, Capri and Mount Vesuvius.

Day 5 Sorrento

Cascading down a steep hillside overlooking the Bay of Naples and mighty Mount Vesuvius, Sorrento is a web of twisting narrow streets filled with family-run trattorias and gelato parlours. We head into Sorrento today to explore its cobbled streets together. Soak up the beautiful sea views – the view of Mount Vesuvius in the distance – and browse the lively street vendors selling famed Amalfi lemons. After the guided tour, well stop by a local lemon grove to learn about the production of limoncello and local jam tasting.

  • Guided tour of Sorrento with lemon grove visit and tasting (morning)

Day 6 Amalfi Coast

Feast your eyes on some of the worlds most beautiful and iconic towns as we cruise past the glamorous Amalfi Coast by private boat. On our guided tour, well first visit Positano; a cascade of pretty pastel-coloured houses and steep, winding streets. Well then continue to Amalfi, where sun-filled piazzas sit by historic buildings. Its the perfect place to just sit and look.

Well stop by a local patisserie for a tasting of the local sweet, delize al limone (lemon delight) which is a sponge drizzled in a limoncello-based syrup.

  • Visit Positano and Amalfi by private boat with cake tasting (all day)

Day 7 Sorrento

Today is at leisure for you to spend as you please. Perhaps soak up those last views of the Bay of Naples, or maybe potter around the streets of Sorrento.

Alternatively, you could join our optional tour to Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius. With a local expert, youll explore the one-time wealthy Roman town of Pompeii, which was buried in AD 79 by a massive eruption of Mount Vesuvius. Youll also make the incredible journey up to the crater at the peak of the volcano.

This evening well enjoy a local farewell dinner together.

Day 8 Sorrento – Naples – UK

Transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK. Upon arrival, your Titan vehicle will be waiting for the journey home.
