Ylläs Log Cabins

Overview

Highly recommended, idyllic, high-quality modern log cabins, dotted around the woods in a variety of scenic locations. Excellent cross-country skiing starts from the door. Cabins are located within 500-950m of the Akas hotel and the nearest ski bus stop. The large village supermarket is also up to 1km away (5-30 minutes’ walk) from the cabins. There is also a choice of cafs, bars and restaurants for those who prefer to eat out.

All cabins vary in appearance and location and may be round or flat log or adjoin another cabin. Cabins can be terraced, end of terrace or semi-detached.

Rooms

All Log Cabins have shower, WC, sauna, fireplace (wood included), TV, VCR or DVD, oven, fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee-maker, dishwasher, hoover, iron, drying closet and washing machine. Guests may pay to use ‘ks’ Hotel pool and sauna. Linen, towels and final clean is included.

lls is an idyllic unspoiled Lappish village with marvellous scenery and high-quality cosylog cabins dotted around the woods. ks Hotel is the main focus of entertainment but thereis also a handful of colourful local bars and restaurants and an excellent, large supermarket. With stunning unspoiled natural scenery, the skies here are especially clear, ideal for witnessing the magical Northern Lights.You may even spot reindeer roaming around.

All of our Santa Breaks include an amazing half day full of atmosphere and fun for the children. Visit one of Santa’s Elves Hideaway and make gingerbread with the elves, dont miss the chance to meet Comet the reindeer and enjoy various snow games for youngsters – with tobogganing and snowballs always on the agenda. Plus of course, there’s the highlight of the day –

A private meeting with Santa Claus himself guaranteed for each family!

We also include arctic thermal suits and warm snow boots for all adults and children (3 years and older – as these breaks are not recommended for infants). Meaning you can ‘come as you are’ with your normal winter outdoor clothing, and we’ll do the rest, so you can relax and enjoy the Lapland snow.

There is always time to join your choice of additional optional activities such ashusky,reindeer and snowmobile safarisor perhaps tryskiing or snowboarding.
