Itinerary

Day 1

UK to Annecy

Your Alpine adventure begins as you depart London St Pancras on
the Eurostar to Paris where you’ll connect for the journey
to Annecy. On arrival, perhaps begin with a stroll through the
delightful Medieval centre with its pretty canals, cobbled bridges
and winding streets.

Day 2

Exploring Lake Annecy

Today you could visit Annecy’s restored castle and museum, or
perhaps take a cruise on the crystal clear waters of Lake Annecy.
You’ll be spoilt with stunning vistas in every direction as the
lake, one of the cleanest in the world, rests at the foot of the
Alps, surrounded by snow-capped mountains.

Day 3

Historic Annecy

Take some time today to explore the city, its lovely historic
buildings, gardens and fountains. Maybe visit the 17th Century
Palais de I’lsle, a former prison, which resembles a small chteau
and is connected to Annecy by a bridge.

Day 4

Annecy to Vevey aboard the Mont Blanc Express

Today your journey takes you from Annecy to Lake Geneva aboard
the iconic Mont Blanc Express. This narrow-gauge railway
was built over 100 years ago as a tourist attraction, designed to
make the most of the region’s mountain scenery. Enjoy sensational
views of waterfalls, flower-filled meadows, pretty villages,
dark-green forest, and vineyards en route to the peaceful market
town of Vevey.

Day 5

Vevey to UK

Today you’ll take the high speed TGV to Paris where you’ll
connect with the Eurostar to London St Pancras.
