Day 1

Your tour starts today…

Fly to beautiful Marrakech where you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel for one night.

Marrakech – Casablanca

Day 2

Drive to Casablanca this morning and discover the city’s highlights on a city sightseeing tour with a local guide. Learn more about Morocco’s colonial past, see the market and the magnificent Hassan II Mosque.

Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes – Fez

Day 3

Journey along the coast to Rabat, Morocco’s historic capital. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city with a local guide, including the Royal Palace, Hassan’s Tower, the Kasbah of Ouidais and the magnificent Chellah Gardens. Later, continue to Meknes, famous for its 16 miles of protective wall. See the Moulay Ismail Mosque and visit the former royal stables and granaries with a local guide. Next stop is the ancient city of Fez, the oldest of Morocco’s four splendid Imperial Cities, where you will stay for two nights.

Day 4

The day is yours to explore this ancient city, which occupies a position of outstanding scenic beauty. Why not join our optional city sightseeing tour to visit the huge ornate arch of Bab Boujeloud and the maze of colourful souks and spice stalls in the bustling streets as well as the atmospheric alleyways of Old Medina.

Fez – Atlas Mountains – Ziz Valley – Erfoud

Day 5

Journey through the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains drive and stop at the picturesque mountain resort of Ifrane. Later, a chance to view the spectacular Ziz Valley and Ziz gorges. You will stay for two nights in Erfoud, part of the oasis of Tafilalt on the edge of the mighty Sahara Desert.

Erfoud – Rissani – Erfoud

Day 6

Enjoy an excursion to the fortified village of Rissani in the Tafilalt region. Rissani is a traditional desert village that houses the impressive Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Sharif, the first ruler of the Alawite dynasty, which thrived here in the 17th century. In the afternoon, take advantage of the optional excursion to the desert, and take in it’s colours and silence.

Erfoud – Road of 1000 Kasbahs – Ouarzazate

Day 7

Journey through the impressive Todra Gorges and past the eastern slopes of the Atlas Mountains to Tinerhir Oasis, with its green valley of palms and local villages, and continue on a scenic drive through the Dades Valley, also known as the ‘Valley of 1000 Kasbahs’. On to Ouarzazate, a charming oasis resort, where a visit to the Kasbah de Tourirt is included.

Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech

Day 8

This morning, enjoy an orientation drive of Ouarzazate. Today’s highlight is a visit to the beautiful Ait-Benhaddou, the setting of many films including ‘Lawrence of Arabia’ and ‘Gladiator’ Continue through the picturesque villages and rugged mountain scenery to the 7,414ft hight Tizi-n-Tichkas Pass, in the heart of the High Atlas Mountains. Arrive in the imperial city of Marrakech.

Day 9

Discover the beauty of Marrakech on the guided city sightseeing tour, including Jemaa-el-Fna square, the bazaar, the Bahia Palace and the Saadian Tombs.
