The Bahia Principe Grand Punta Cana is a huge complex with a prime beachfront address. Expect everything from sea-view pools and gourmet restaurants to merengue and salsa sessions.

This beachfront place doesnt do things by halves it lines up two pools, tonnes of sports and activities and restaurants and bars under the All Inclusive tag. Plus, when you’re staying here you’ll also have access to the pools, bars and la carte restaurants at the neighbouring Bahia Principe Grand Hotel, the Bavaro.

Bedroom-wise, swanky junior suites are the standard here. Theyre really spacious, and each one has a whirlpool bath and a roomy balcony or terrace.


The main pools split into three sections and sits next to the beach. Its accessorised with whirlpool jets and a thatched-roof swim-up bar, too. There are also a couple of smaller pools tucked away in the gardens.

This hotel has six restaurants. As well as a buffet place with international dishes and themed nights, there are four la cartes, including a steakhouse, a seafood place and a Tex-Mex serving fajitas and tequila shrimp.Sample sushi and ice-cream tempura at the Japanese la carte, or order fajitas at the Mexican place.
