Itinerary

Vienna

Days 1-3

To Cologne and Exploring Vienna

Begin your adventure at St Pancras International, boarding the
Eurostar for a relaxing journey to Brussels. Here you change trains
and join the high-speed train to Cologne, where you spend the night
before continuing to Vienna. On Day 2, one of the best ways to see
the thriving heart of Vienna is to take a walk around the famous
Ringstrasse which contains many of Vienna’s main historical
treasures. There are also several parks, gardens and cafs dotted
along the route, providing ample opportunity to relax with a drink
and watch the world go by.

Budapest

Days 4-5

Discover Budapest

Leaving Vienna behind, you travel through the picturesque upper
Austrian and Hungarian scenery to Budapest. This beautiful and
romantic city is famously split into two by the River Danube. On
one side is the historic, hill area of Buda; on the other, the
cosmopolitan region of Pest. Take a tour of Budapest to discover a
wealth of historic and cultural gems from medieval buildings,
ancient castles and world heritage sites to sparkling lakes, a
wealth of museums and a fabulous city park.

Prague

Days 6-7

Historic Prague

Today your adventure through central Europe continues as you
board your train for the scenic journey through northern Hungary
and Slovakia to Prague. Prague is bursting with iconic medieval
landmarks, and other monuments that shouldn’t be missed are the Old
Town Hall, with its wonderful Astronomical Clock; the Church of our
Lady Victorious, and the Jewish Quarter, the largest complex of
medieval Jewish monuments in Europe.

Berlin

Days 8-9

To Berlin & Homeward Bound

Today it is time to bid Prague farewell as you journey
northwards through the scenic Bohemian countryside. Crossing the
border into Germany, you will traverse the breathtaking Elbe Valley
with its verdant mountains and dramatic rocky gorges. Spend the
night in Berlin before continuing to Brussels on Day 9 where you
board the Eurostar back to London.
