ItineraryDay 1: Halifax, Nova Scotia – Tour BeginsWelcome to Canadas Maritimes region an area of rugged and pristine beauty. Day 2: Halifax – Peggys Cove – HalifaxThis morning meet your fellow guests over breakfast with your Tour Manager. Then, visit one of the most picturesque spots in all of Canada beautiful Peggys Cove. Its historic lighthouse overlooking the Atlantic Ocean provides one of the most memorable views you will ever see. Later, explore Halifaxs charming downtown on a tour highlighting the waterfront, Public Gardens, Spring Garden Road and the famous Citadel. This evening, enjoy dinner along the waterfront. Day 3: Halifax – Cape Breton Island – BaddeckEn route to Cape Breton, enjoy a visit to the Millbrook Cultural & Heritage Centre to learn about the Mikmaq heritage and Glooscap legendssee artifacts including intricate quill and bead work, and learn some words from the Mikmaq language. Continue your journey along the Canso Causeway to stunning Cape Breton Island. Set out on a scenic drive by the pristine shores of Bras d’Or Lakes, Canadas only inland sea. Afterward, take a short ferry ride to Prince Edward Island, the Land Cradled on the Waves. Day 6: Prince Edward IslandToday you will come to know the rolling landscapes of Prince Edward Island, the backdrop of the acclaimed novel, Anne of Green Gables. Visit North Rusticos celebrated wharf dotted with fishing boats and lobster traps. Arrive in delightful Cavendish and view Prince Edward Island National Parks picturesque beaches. Visit the Anne of Green Gables Museum where you will meet a local farmer who will teach you the art of potato farming, the islands leading industry. Return to Charlottetown with time to explore this fascinating city. Discover seaside Charlottetown with a tour along its narrow streets lined with quaint homes and hidden treasures. Day 7: Prince Edward Island – Saint John, New BrunswickThis morning leave Prince Edward Island behind as you cross the stately Confederation Bridge. Travel along the sea-sprayed shoreline to the amazing Hopewell Rocks. A New Brunswick icon, these flowerpot-shaped rocks carved by the Fundy tides seem to rise four stories high at low tide only to disappear into tiny islands when the tide is high.* Savor a traditional Maritimes lobster feast as you look out upon Daniels Flats. Continue your journey through New Brunswick to the city of Saint John where youll enjoy a 2-night stay in the bustling waterfront area. Day 8: Saint JohnExplore the awe-inspiring Fundy Trail, marveling at the spectacular views of the famous tides. Embark on a tour where you will experience its natural beauty. Day 10: Western Shore – Lunenburg – Western ShoreExperience the small fishing village of Mahone Bay before stopping at Amos Pewter to learn about the intricate artistry that goes into each piece. Next, travel along the beautiful Lighthouse Route towards Lunenburg. Explore this fishing village on a walking tour and discover how early settlers turned to the sea for survival.
