I thought you may appreciate some feedback from our Hurtigruten experience. Our flight out was fine, it was on time and the Norwegian aircrew are excellent. The transfer to the ship was good too. The ship, Nordnorge was very good, all the crew friendly and helpful. The Hurtigruten tour guide Askild Ognes was very informative helpful and entertaining. We enjoyed the Snowmobiling Safari in Kirkenes, the weather was excellent, which helped, even though the temperature was -12C. On the way back to Tromso after leaving Vadso, we were lucky to have a wonderful 4 hour Northern Lights show, which really made the day, an excellent day. We have had an excellent time and a thoroughly memorable experience.
If I had any critisism, it would be the return journey via Oslo, we had 5 hours to waste in Oslo airport. This is not enough time to get to Oslo and do anything meaningful. Perhaps it would be worth offering an over night in Oslo, so there would be a chance to see the city. Or perhaps extend the stay in Tromso with some activities available and then returning on the direct flight the following Saturday. ( I assume the Gatwick to Tromso Flight is once a week)
