Katherine Passage, which is astreet filled with craft shops, is very quaint. A compelling hour or two canalso be spent at the Rocca al Mare open air museum.
As well as Tallinn, youll also visit the second oldest cityin the Baltics; Tartu, if only to admire the majesty of its historicuniversity. Toome Hill is a great viewpoint from which to take in the cityskyline and, if youre on holiday with a partner, dont underestimate howenchanting a walk along the banks of the Emajogi River will be.
Other highlights of Estonia include Parnu, with its cultural heart, parks and white sandy beaches, as well as the Vilsandi Nature Reserve on the island of Saaremaa, which you can cycle around or hike through on your way to the site of the infamous Estonian meteorite crater, with its accompanying museum.
