Lying on the soft white sands of a Caribbean beach is a common idea of what utter bliss feels like, but once faced with the reality of two weeks of non-stop hitting the beach, you might wish to break up your holiday with the odd excursion. Thats why weve compiled a list of what we believe to be Sagas best excursions in the Caribbean islands. You might want to swim with the stingrays, visit the spice plantations, or take a trip into the colonial past. Its all possible!
Antigua
Antigua is known for the coral reefs that surround the island, giving you plenty to see if youre planning to dive here. If you travel to Antigua at the right time of year, youll witness the colourful carnival and be able to join in the party atmosphere. There will be bands on every corner and plenty of exciting street food to try.

Swimming with stingrays features on bucket lists the world over, but if youre going to achieve your lifelong goal, why not do it where the waters warm and youre surrounded by the sunny scenery of Antigua? Here, under expert guidance, youll not only be able to swim with them, but also feed them and stroke them!

Pigeon Island is an iconic site, just off the mainland of St Lucia. It is a 44 acre islet artificially joined via a Causeway. It has two beautiful beaches, a restaurant and a pub. As part of this tour youll also visit Castries, where you will visit the cathedral with its colourful murals, the large market, and Derek Walcott Square.
