Day 1 London (Heathrow)/Johannesburg – Non-stop South Africa Airways overnight flight.
Day 2 Johannesburg – On arrival transfer to your hotel.
Day 3 Johannesburg/Hazyview – Morning departure along the circular Panorama route, visiting the view sites of Blyde Canyon and Bourke’s Luck Potholes before heading to Hazyview for overnight (2 nights). (B,D)
Day 4 Kruger National Park – A full days game viewing in Kruger. Look out for lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, leopard and all manner of wildlife. (B)
Day 5 Hazyview/Swaziland – Enjoy an enchanting drive to the tiny Kingdom of Swaziland, visiting the famous Ngwenya Glass Factory before arriving at your hotel for overnight. (B)
Day 6 Swaziland/St Lucia – Journey into Zululand stopping enroute at the roadside markets. Continue into the Kingdom of KwaZulu-Natal . Arrive in St Lucia for overnight, home to hippo, crocodile and no less than 367 bird species. (B)
Day 7 St Lucia/Durban – Morning departure for Durban where a visit is made to the Botanic Gardens and a city tour. (B)
Day 8 Durban/Drakensberg – Early morning start heading towards the Drakensberg range of mountains. At leisure on arrival to enjoy the stunning scenery and fresh, mountain air. (B,D)
Day 9 Drakensberg/Transkei – Morning departure for the wild,untamed coast of the Transkei. En route visit Umtata where Nelson Mandela was born and grew up. After visiting the museum dedicated to his life, continue and arrive mid-afternoon at your coastal hotel. (B,D)
Day 10 Transkei/East London – A morning to savour the scenery before heading south to East London, the only river port in Southern Africa. (B)
Day 11 East London/Port Elizabeth – Enjoy a short city tour of East London this morning before travelling through ‘Settler Country’ towards Grahamstown. Visit the 1820 Settler Memorial and continue to Port Elizabeth. Afternoon at leisure to enjoy the magnificent beaches. (B)
Day 12 Port Elizabeth/Knysna – Drive towards the Cape, visiting the Tsitsikamma Forest. A highlight of the day is a walk to the suspension bridge over the Storm’s River. Arrive in Knysna mid-afternoon for overnight (2 nights). (B,D)
Day 13 Oudtshoorn – Depart after breakfast for the spectacular Outeniqua Pass to Outtshoorn, renowned for its ostrich industry. Visit the famous Cango Caves and an Ostrich Farm. Return to Knysna. (B)
Day 14 Knysna/Cape Town – Enroute to Cape Town stop off in Mossel Bay to visit the Post Office Tree, Barholomeus Diaz Museum and Shell Museum. Arrive Cape Town in the late afternoon. (B)
Day 15 Cape Town – A day at leisure, a visit to the V&A Waterfront is recommended. (B)
Day 16 Cape Town/London (Heathrow) – At leisure prior to your transfer for your non-stop overnight South Africa Airways flight. (B)
