DAY 1
Depart Sydney and head to Darlington Point.
DAY 2
Cross into Victoria and stop at Mildura, then travel to Renmark.
DAY 3
Visit the Barossa Valley for a winery tour and tastings. Head to Adelaide with time to explore.
DAY 4
Journey north to the Flinders Ranges National Park.
DAY 5
Continue north through remote townships to Marree.
DAY 6
Travel to Coober Pedy, the Opal capital. Experience sleeping underground in unique dormitory style accommodation.
DAY 7-8
Drive through vast cattle stations to Uluru for two nights. Enjoy sunrise and a guided base tour before heading to Kata Tjuta.
DAY 9
Continue to Kings Creek Station, then to Kings Canyon. Climb to the canyon rim and enjoy stunning views.
DAY 10-11
Journey to Alice Springs through the Western MacDonnell Ranges. Enjoy two nights in eAlicef.
DAY 12
Cross the Tropic of Capricorn before visiting the Devils Marbles. Continue to Tennant Creek.
DAY 13
See the John Flynn Memorial at Three Ways and the famous Daly Waters pub before continuing to Katherine.
DAY 14
Travel to Katherine Gorge for a cruise. Visit Kakadu National Park and the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre.
DAY 15-16
Take a cruise on Yellow Waters Billabong, visit the Bowali Visitor Centre, and view the Aboriginal paintings at Ubirr. Continue to Darwin for a two night hotel stay.
DAY 17
Visit Adelaide River War Cemetery. Continue to Edith Falls and to Mataranka for a dip in the thermal springs.
DAY 18
Journey across the Barkly Tablelands.
DAY 19
Cross into Queensland stopping at Camooweal before arriving in Mount Isa.
DAY 20
Journey through remote savannah to Charters Towers.
DAY 21-23
Travel through the Atherton Tablelands. Visit the Curtain Fig Tree and Millaa Millaa Falls. Continue to Cairns for three nights. Cruise to the Great Barrier Reef then, on your second day, board the Skyrail Cableway for a journey to Kuranda.
DAY 24-25
Continue to Airlie Beach for two nights. Cruise to Hamilton Island and continue to Whitehaven Beach.
DAY 26
Travel to Mackay. Continue south to Langmorn Station, a fully operational cattle station.
DAY 27-28
Continue to Miriam Vale and Gin Gin en route to Hervey Bay. Cruise to Fraser Island for two nights then take a 4x4 tour of 75-Mile Beach and see The Cathedrals.
DAY 29
Travel to Brisbane for a city tour. Continue south to the Gold Coast.
DAY 30
On to Byron Bay then continue to Coffs Harbour.
DAY 31
Continue south to Sydney.
MEAL PLAN
Daily breakfast from Day 2, 12 lunches and 22 dinners.
ACCOMMODATION
A twoperson safari tent with mosquito netting and ventilation is provided, with hotel accommodation on Days 3, 15, 16 and 30.
TOUR INCLUDES
Sightseeing as detailed, all permits, camp fees and entrance fees.
TRANSPORT INFORMATION
Air conditioned coaches have reclining seats, two door access, toilet, ample legroom and panoramic windows. All AAT Kings coaches operate a non-smoking policy.

TRAVEL TIPS
The tour can be split. Follow Days 1-16 for the 15 night option and Days 1-24 for the 23 night option. NB You will be required to erect your own tent. Campgrounds have showers and toilets and most have a laundry and swimming pool.
