Day 1 To Cairo: Fly from London to Cairo with British Airways. Transfer to the Four Seasons Hotel at the First Residence for 3 nights. (N)
Day 2 Pyramids & Sphinx: Morning visit to the Great Pyramid and the Sphinx. Afternoon at leisure or optional excursion to the stepped pyramid at Saqqara (payable locally). (B)
Day 3 Cairo: Morning visit to the Egyptian Museum, with its treasures of Tutankhamun. After lunch, tour the mosques, souqs and citadel of Old Cairo. (B, L)
Day 4 To Luxor: Early morning flight to Luxor to board The Oberoi Philae for a 4 night cruise to Aswan. Afternoon tour of the Temples of Karnak and Luxor. Overnight in Luxor. (B, L, D)
Day 5 To Esna: Morning trip to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, the Deir el-Medina, the Mortuary Temple of Ramses III at Medinat Habu, and the Colossi of Memnon. After lunch, sail to Esna where you stay overnight. (B, L, D)
Day 6 To Kom Ombo: Early morning sailing to Edfu to visit the Temple of Horus. After lunch, sail to Kom Ombo and visit the Temple of Sobek and Haroeris. Overnight in Kom Ombo. (B, L, D)
Day 7 To Aswan: This morning, sail to Aswan. After lunch, visit the High Dam, the Temple of Philae and the Unfinished Obelisk. Overnight in Aswan. (B, L, D)
Day 8 To Kalabsha: Morning disembarkation and felucca ride to the Botanical Gardens on Kitchener’s Island. Transfer by road to Lake Nasser and board the M/S Kasr Ibrim for a 4 night cruise. The Kasr Ibrim visits some of the remote monuments of Lower Nubia, which were rescued from the rising waters after the construction of the Aswan High Dam. Afternoon visits to the Temples of Kalabsha, Beit el Wali and the Kiosk of Kertassi. (B, L, D)
Day 9 To Wadi El Seboua: Full day spent cruising through the spectacular scenery of Lake Nasser. Overnight at Wadi el Seboua. (B, L, D)
Day 10 To Amada: Morning visit to the Temple of Wadi el Seboua, built by Ramses II. Visit the Temple of Dakka and the Graeco-Roman site of Meharakka. After lunch, cruise to Amada to visit the XVIII dynasty temple, the rock temple of Derr and the tomb of Penout. Late afternoon cruise to a site near Kasr Ibrim. (B, L, D)
Day 11 To Abu Simbel: This morning, cruise past Kasr Ibrim, founded over 3,500 years ago, with Nubian, Coptic and Arabic influences. Sail to Abu Simbel and visit the temple complex, one of the most spectacular in Egypt. Evening visit to the ‘Son et Lumiére’. (B, L, D)
Day 12 To Cairo: Disembark and fly to Cairo. Transfer to the Four Seasons Hotel at the First Residence for 1 night. (B)
Day 13 To London: Morning transfer to the airport. Fly from Cairo to London with British Airways. (B)
